Watched 'PACIFIC HEIGHTS' (Kanopy). The film's message is about the dire consequences of Renter's Rights. The crooked renter moves in, never pays rent and you can't get rid of him because the law is on his side.  I doubt if this is the case in most localities and it's probably more common that owners have far more power over their tenants. This is a novel idea for a film and could have been better yet still worth a look because of the setting in Pacific Heights, San Francisco at the end of the 80's; with Melanie Griffith, Matthew Modine, and Michael Keaton.

Watched 'NEW BEST FRIEND' (Amazon Prime). A shy and nerdy college coed finesses her way into the most popular group on campus. The parties, drugs and booze transform her into the biggest 'mean girl' at the college. A very low budget affair that's barely worth a look. "13" Metascore. This might be the lowest score I've ever seen at IMDB and I didn't think it was all that bad.

More 'FERRY: The Series' (Netflix). The young girl who was injured in the drug spill is going for treatments in Brussels, Belgium. So most of the action takes place in Belgium, but I think Ferry has some connection to the Netherlands. I shut it down 33 minutes into episode #4

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am.
