Up 6am: A mix of sun & clouds with temps to low 60's.
Watched 'APOSTASY' (Crackle TV). This is most definitely my all time favorite film about religious faith. PREMISE: Mom rejects her daughters to earn Jehovah's love. She allows one daughter to die because a blood transfusion is contrary to Jehovah's law and shuns the other daughter for disobeying the laws of the Jehovah's Witnesses' faith. 'Society'- how the elders interpret reality; 'New System'- how the world will be after the apocalypse and 'the faithful' will live forever {under the guidance of the elders}; with Molly Wright, Siobhan Finneran, and Sacha Parkinson. Nominated for 1 BAFTA Award; 5 wins & 21 nominations. Filmed in Oldham, England which is a northeastern suburb of Manchester.
More of 'Santo' (Netflix). I shut it down 22 minutes into episode #4. Bearded cop became a coke fiend after his partner was gunned down right in front of him. This is how he became a bent cop. I think. It's a high energy Spanish series and well worth a look.
1210pm: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then hit Planet Fitness.
Weights: 3 sets/ 15 reps.
1255pm: To Planet Fitness...45"Cross. 45"Treadmill. 30"Bike. 30"Treadmill. 30"Cross; watched documentary 'Till Murder Do US Part' (Netflix)- In March of 1985 a Virginia college couple conspired to brutally murder her parents; [4 episodes]. They accuse each other of the killings and after serving over 30 years both are released and deported. I shut it down with 10 minutes remaining in the series.
Reset all of the clocks at 940 to resume standard time. I remember what a hassle this used to be to set up the Sun City chats after a time change.
Finished 'SLEEPLESS' by Romy Hausmann & began 'SLEEP NO MORE' by GREG ILES.
625pm: In the tub with 'SLEEP NO MORE' and listening to ROBIN TROWER- 'Twice Removed From Yesterday'; WHO- 'Who Came First'; AC/ DC- 'If You Want Blood'; CREAM- 'Wheels On Fire'.
Finished 'Till Murder Do Us Part' (Netflix). Were they smart enough to commit the perfect double murder? We can't say which one remained in Washington to perfect the 'movie ticket' alibi so it's quite possible that they were together at the murder scene and they were confident that this alibi would be difficult to shoot down.
More of Tony Hinchcliffe's YouTube tale of how he was cancelled for 'Asian Hate'.
More 'SANTO' (Netflix). I shut it down 36 minutes into episode #5. After finishing 'SLEEPLESS' with its multiple storylines, timelines, and conflicting points of view, I would have liked to finish the day on something a little more straight forward. And 'SANTO' is not.
