Up 645am: {I fed Buddy at 330am and it took over an hour for me to fall back asleep} A mix of sun & then cloudy with temps to about 60. Tomorrow it's predicted to rain all day.

Did the Weekly Cleaning

Watched 'SOUTHPAW' {leaving Netflix in a few days}. A top professional fighter loses his wife when she is shot and killed in a senseless scuffle after one of his fights. Then, he loses his ten year old daughter to Child & Family Services yet in the end, he's able to recover his title belt and reclaim custody of his child. A hackneyed storyline, but Gyllenhall's performance gives it enough style and heart to make it worth a look; with Jake Gyllenhall, Rachel McAdams, Forest Whitaker, and 50 Cent. 11 nominations- "57" Metascore.  

1130am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do weights and workout at Planet Fitness.

1235pm: To Planet Fitness; 45"Cross. 45"Treadmill.  30"Bike.  30"Treadmill.  30"Cross;  watched documentary 'BURIED: The 1982 Alpine Meadows Avalanche'- The ski patrol did all they could & only one woman survived; watched an episode of 'NIGHTMARE IN SUBURBIA' (Amazon Prime)- A greedy British wife attempts to poison her husband with antifreeze for his life insurance;  watched an 18 minute short film 'THE AFTER' (Netflix)- A man's wife and daughter are stabbed to death in front of him by a deranged killer. He drives a cab and experiences PTSD. Not very convincing and maybe needs more time to flesh out the details. 

Reading 'THE FIX'

545pm: In the tub with 'THE FIX' and listening to ROLLING STONES- 'Hackneyed Diamonds'; WAS (NOT WAS)- 'What Up, Dog'/ 'Born To Laugh At Tornadoes'.

More ''SUBURRAETERNA' (Netflix). Shut it down 22 minutes into episode #5. The plot is thick as mud but the individual scenes are super dramatic.

I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
