Wrote up 'THE FIX' by David Baldacci for the blog. 

Watched 'THE GAME' (Tubi).  An arrogant stockbroker is given a gift by his younger brother. It's an expensive 'ticket' to a new reality and soon the line between what's real and fantasy disappears. Location shots of 90's San Francisco are great; with Michael Douglas, Deborah Kara Unger, Sean Penn, James Rebhorn; "63" Metascore. Directed by David Fincher (SE 7 EN, GONE GIRL, ZODIAC, THE SOCIAL NETWORK, FIGHT CLUB).  

11am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to get an early start and do the weights and then hit Esporta. Remember to stop at Schnucks for peanut butter and apples after the workout.

1215pm:  To Esporta...45" Precor.  30"Bike.  45" Cross.  30" Treadmill.  30" Precor;  'STAMPED FROM THE BEGINNING' (Netflix)-  Ninety minutes of American history that shows (proves?) that racism was baked into the cake;  began 'THE BLACK BOOK' (Netflix)- A retired hitman tracks down the murderers of his son in lawless Nigeria. I only did less than an hour and I won't be back; JOE LIST & RAANAN TALK MOVIES- 'The Killer'

Schnucks: bag of apples, large jar of Peter Pan Crunchy. I wish County Market sold this size. 

Reading 'TINSEL'

550pm: In the tub with 'TINSEL' and listening to BLACK CROWES- 'Croweology'; NEIL YOUNG- 'Mirror Ball'.

Finished the discussion of the film 'THE KILLER' (Netflix). They didn't like it and I think they were far too critical, yet they reminded me that the assassin loved The Smiths. 

More 'DOWNTON ABBEY' (Amazon Prime). I shut it down 42 minutes into episode #4. Finely tuned melodrama. It seems like it was based on a novel, but it's just an excellent screenplay by Julian Fellowes.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
