Watched 'WE OWN THE NIGHT' (Tubi- Leaving soon). A classy Police Procedural with  a dysfunctional 'brothers & fathers' theme. The 'bad' brother runs a disco in early 80's Manhattan and his brother and father are high ranking members of the NYC Police Department. Lots of high drama & scenery chewing, but it works; with Joaquin Phoenix, Eva Mendes, Mark Wahlberg, Robert Duvall, and Danny Hoch. "59" Metascore; 1 win & 5 nominations. 

More of 'THE LORENSKOG DISAPPEARANCE' (Netflix). I watched enough so that I can finish it tonight.

Finished 'THE LORENSKOG DISAPPEARANCE' (Netflix). You don't learn whether the billionaire was behind the kidnapping of his wife. This is based on actual events and I'll spend some time to see what the real story is. {The billionaire's wife is still missing}

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
