Sa 1/20/24- Buddy Sick
645am (2-B). 1215pm (2-B). 540pm (2-B). 820pm (2-B).
Up 520am: Sunny & frigid with 'Dangerous Wind Chills' until noon today and temps to low teens.
***Buddy threw up breakfast next to the water heater and I didn't notice it until I went downstairs before Morning Movie. He is lethargic and doesn't seem hungry- highly unusual.
***He threw up again a couple of hours later on the hallway rug and was still acting very quiet.
***He threw up a little later at the edge of the kitchen and the hall.
I'm going to feed him again when I leave for the gym and hope that he can keep it down.
***Clear liquid vomit in the kitchen later.
***Treadmill today
Watched 'DESTROYER' (Amazon Prime). A female detective on the skids gets dragged into a case from her past. She and her boyfriend worked undercover to nail a crew of bank robbers and it looks like this group are at it again. Nicole Kidman's character looked worse than warmed over death for the entire performance and that's the biggest (but not the only) reason that the film is memorable; with Nicole Kidman, Scoot McNairy, and Bradley Whitford. "62" Metascore. 3 wins & 20 nominations.
More of 'THE GOLDEN HOUR' (Netflix). 1) The attack at the open air market. 2) The attack at the wedding. 3) The attack at the shopping center. 4) The bomb truck at the same shopping center. A terrific series and they are making another season.
1130am: PC is 'Off' and I will do the weights and then hit Esporta. I did the weights and decided to hit Esporta tomorrow when Buddy is feeling better.
Weights: 3 sets/ 15 reps
[Slower] 1220pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT;began CHAD DANIELS on 'WE MIGHT BE DRUNK.

545pm: In the tub with 'SINS OF THE FATHER' and began 'FUNERAL IN BERLIN by LEN DEIGHTON listening to SMALL FACES- 'Sha La La Lee'; TRAFFIC- 'Best of '.
More of 'WE MIGHT BE DRUNK' with CHAD DANIELS.
Began 'KUBRA' (Netflix). I shut it down 13 minutes into episode #2. A Turkish man seems to be getting messages on his phone from Allah. I'm hooked.
