***When I fed Buddy early this morning I stepped on his tail and he bit me on the lower right calf. As far as I can remember this is the first time he has reacted this way and it seemed that he acted purely by instinct. I used a couple of bandaids and we're still friends.
Up 615am: Another cloudy day with patches of fog and temps to upper 30's.
Watched 'THE POSTCARD KILLINGS' (Netflix). There are a series of brutal killings of couples across Europe and NYC detective jumps on the case. His daughter was one of the victims and authorities think that they are looking for a husband and wife killers when the actual perps are brother and sister. This could have been great, but only registered as mediocre; with Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Famke Janssen, and Naomi Battrick, and Ruairi O'Conner. "29" Metascore. Based on a novel by James Patterson.
More 'DETECTIVE FORST' (Netflix). The serial killer was Forst's best friend at the orphanage. A beautifully shot series and the Tatra Mountains of Poland must be something to see. I watched a YouTube video about the series and it helped with some of the questions and it looks like there will be a second season.
12pm: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to hit the treadmill and then hit County Market for groceries.
1230pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; watched 'AMERICAN METH' (Amazon Prime)- A documentary that is what 'Reefer Madness' was for cannabis, but this time it's methamphetamine's turn to feel the hysterical wrath. Nobody over the age of seven should believe almost any of this; more of UFO PHD on J.R.E.
Weights: 3 sets/ 15 reps.
230pm: To County Market: $109- not crowded & put away by 330pm.
Began reading 'MAO II' by DON DELILLO.
450pm: TWO MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; began BOBBY LEE on BERTCAST.
550pm: In the tub with 'MAO II' and listening to DEL FUEGOS- 'The Slash Years'; LONG RYDERS- 'Native Son' Deluxe.
More of BOBBY LEE on 'Bertcast'.
Began 'THE BEQUEATHED' (Netflix). I shut it down 10 minutes into episode #2. A woman in a failing marriage learns that she had an uncle. He has died and she inherits the family plot. The land is needed to complete a local golf course so it's a valuable piece of real estate. This series is shaping up to be really quirky and aimed at Korean audiences.
