Watched 'THE SILENCING' (Netflix). ***CHANGE OF PLANS***I decided to save this one for the next trip to Esporta or Planet Fitness. 

Watched 'LA CONFIDENTIAL' (Netflix). {From an excellent novel by James Ellroy} Corruption is endemic in the LA police force after mob boss Mickey Cohen is jailed and crooked cops try to take control of the rackets. A major player is in the escort business and he pays for plastic surgery so that his girls look like particular movie stars. Then he entices important men to date his 'stars', gets photographic evidence, and blackmails them; with Kevin Spacey, Russell Crowe, Guy Pearce, Kim Basinger, James Cromwell, Danny DeVito, David Strathairn, and Ron Rifkin. Won 2 Oscars; 91 wins & 86 nominations. "91" Metascore.  

Watched an episode of 'I AM A KILLER' (Netflix). A Missouri man and veteran of the Afghanistan war claims PTSD after killing his wife and then turning the gun on himself. Although he survived, half of his face was permanently disfigured. He got a twenty year sentence, but he feels that he's really innocent. I disagree. 

1155am: PC is 'Off' and I had planned to hit the streets, but it was too cold. 

 1225: FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; watched another episode of 'I AM A KILLER (Netflix)- A man blames harsh treatment by his father as the reason for his criminal behavior. He aided his father in the murder two people because dad believed that they led his daughter astray; finished STAVVY on TIGER BELLY; began WHITNEY CUMMINGS on 'Endless Honeymoon'.

More 'HIGH TIDES' (Netflix). I shut it down 15 minutes into episode #4. The girl with bipolar is about to take Molly with the gang.

I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
