Up 540am: Occasional snow showers early and then cloudy with temps to low 30's. The lawns and roofs are still lightly snow covered from yesterday's snowfall. 

Weekly Cleaning

Watched 'THOSE WHO WISH ME DEAD' (Netflix). Another mediocre film and this one was set in the wilds of New Mexico and is about a father and son who are on the proverbial 'run'. Dad was a 'forensic accountant' and uncovered some shady dealings involving senators and various corrupt 'one percenters'.  The 'rich & powerfully connected' (we never meet them or learn of their transgressions) send out a two-man hit team to kill the man and boy. Meanwhile, a forest fire is raging and it gets dumber and dumber from there; with Angelina Jolie, Jon Bernthal, Jake Weber, and Patrick Hoult."59" Metascore although Washington Post gave it a "25" and I agree.

*** Zero sum game: One player's gain is equivalent to the other player's loss and results in an overall improvement of zero.

More of 'THE WOODS' (Netflix). I shut it down 29 minutes into episode #4. It's confusing because it concerns crimes that occured 25 years apart and the teenagers are now adults and played by different actors. Also, there is a rape case that happens in the present and has nothing to do with the old cases....or does it?

12pm: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then hit Planet Fitness or Esporta. Not sure which joint, but I will take my wallet and register with United Healthcare.

1255pm:   To Planet Fitness...45"Cross,  45"Treadmill, 30"Bike,  30" Treadmill, 30"Cross;  watched 'THE COMMUTER' (Netflix)- A weary commuter is forced to locate one of the passengers pr his family is killed. Some intense fistfights and not much else; with Liam Neeson, Vera Farmiga,  Patrick Wilson; more of 'YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT' (Netflix).

***I tried to switch to United Healthcare but I need the 'Fitness ID'. Call tomorrow.

More 'THE WOODS' (Netflix). I shut it down a few minutes into episode #6. The old man who ran the holiday camp twenty years ago has just blown his brains out after shooting the prosecutor in the gut. It's heating up but still very convoluted and I'll finish the series Monday morning.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
