Up 620am: Cloudy with temps to upper 30's. Frigid temps & snow is on tap for this weekend. 

Watched 'AN EYE FOR AN EYE' (Netflix). A male nurse in a Spanish hospice forms a relationship with an elderly mobster. The nurse is slowly killing him with drugs because the mobster was pushing drugs and his brother OD'd. I had seen this before, but I remembered very little. It was released in 2019 and I've seen a few thousand or more films since then; with Luis Tosar. 8 wins & 20 nominations. Filmed in Galicia Spain which is in the extreme northwest corner of the country.  

Watched 'FOOL ME ONCE' (Netflix). I shut it down 25 minutes into episode #7. I'll be able to finish the series tonight. 

1035am-: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then walk Washington Park. Tomorrow begins winter weather and temps in the zero range by Friday. I want to get the grocery shopping/ gas in the Elantra before the weather gets bad.

545pm: In the tub with 'THE WINDCHIME LEGACY' and listening to SLAVE Playlist; TASTE- 'Best of'; TEDESCHI TRUCKS BAND Playlist; ROLLING STONES- 'Emotional Rescue'.

***At 815pm I noticed a prompt to 'Restart' and I ran it and it only took a couple of minutes. Remember to run 'Up Date' on the upstairs PC. 

Finished 'FOOL ME ONCE' (Netflix). The ending came out of nowhere and I was shocked that Maya killed her husband because he was a natural born killer and iced Maya's sister as well. Maya is killed 'live' {on the internet} and exposes her in-law's corrupt family. A little bit corny, but overall it was an entertaining ride. 

Began 'CIGARETTE GIRL' (Netflix). I just watched the first few minutes of this Indonesian series and I'll give it a shot.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale.
