Watched 'GRAN TURISMO: Based on a True Story' (Netflix). Premise: Gamers who are excell at video game racing can carry that excellence to competing in actual LeMans car racing. Sub-Plot: People no longer associate thrills and excitement with driving. Uber is the way that many get around. The movie is based on real events. 

Finished 'HIGH TIDES' (Netflix).  'Glamor Boy' killed the black boy's aunt. It was an accident as 'Glamor Boy' was in a fist fight with his father and trying to protect the woman when she fell over the railing. And 'The Hot Girl' leaves the 'Lovable Black Boy' and runs alone along the beach. Fade to Black... {Season 2 is filming this year}

Began 'THE LORENSKOG DISAPPEARANCE' (Netflix). I shut it down 15 minutes into episode #1. Filmed entirely in Norway where the series is set.  

1125am: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then head to Esporta. I'll have to register my new insurance and then hit the vitamin shop for more pills.

It's all a scam; Began a series: 'You Are What You Eat' (Netflix)- Identical twins are given two different diets. One is vegan and one is omnivore to examine Nature vs. Nurture; more of TONY HINCHCLIFFE on J.R.E.

More 'THE LORENSKOG DISAPPEARANCE' (Netflix). I shut it down 32 minutes into episode #2, The first chapter was 'the police' and chapter two is 'the journalists'.  Set in Romerike, Norway which is northeast of Oslo.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale.
