Up 610am: Bright & sunny with today's high only in the high single digits. The 'Dangerous Wind Chill Warning' is in effect until early this afternoon. High temperatures below freezing until next Monday.

***I ordered another bottle of treadmill belt lubricant at Amazon.

Watched 'TRAPPED' (Netflix). A kidnapping plot goes awry. The plot was so unbelievable that it was more laughable than thrilling. Landing the seaplane on an interstate was so over the top that it seemed laughable; with Kevin Bacon, Charlize Theron, Courtney Love, Stuart Townsend, Pruitt Taylor Vince, and Dakota Fanning. "42" Metascore. Filmed in British Columbia, Canada but set in the Eastern Cascades of California, Washington, and Oregon.

More 'THE JOURNALIST' (Netflix). I shut it down 33 minutes into episode #4. The female journalist has been asked by management to stop covering the story and she can't let it rest. I'll continue this series tonight.

***I tried to call Wedgewood Pharmacy but the wait was too long. I'll try again after the treadmill. 

12pm: PC is 'Off' and will do 5 miles on the treadmill. I had thought of hitting Planet Fitness, but it's just too cold!

1230pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; finished MARC MARON on DAVID CROSS; began 'BAD FRIENDS.

Weights: 3 sets/  15 reps 

Reading 'REDEMPTION'

440pm: TWO MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; more of BAD FRIENDS & DR. PHIL.

545pm: In the tub with 'REDEMPTION' and listening to BRIAN ENO- 'Here Come The Warm Jets'; REPLACEMENTS- 'Tim'; MATTHEW SWEET- 'Girlfriend'/ '100%'.

***Buddy threw up on his new mat while I was in the tub. He was hungry almost immediately and showed no sign of lethargy. 

More of 'BAD FRIENDS'

More 'THE JOURNALIST' (Netflix).  Shut it down 5 minutes into the final episode. This is so Japanese that I don't think it would work if it was set in America. The Japanese men seem far too emotional, but it's still well worth seeing.

***Buddy threw up again during the evening and then again at 430am. He seems hungry and not lethargic.

Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
