Finished 'THE BEQUEATHED' (Netflix). Plot: A woman inherits a parcel of land that includes the family burial plot. It could be worth a lot because the area is slated to be turned into a golf course. However, somebody is killing off the potential owners. The killer is an old woman (with a cleft palate) who had a son with her brother. 'Incest' issues ramp up the drama and enhance the dreary setting. I gave the series 'two thumbs' even though it was more than a little confusing. 

Bergan 'THE BANK OF DAVE' (Netflix). DEF LEPPARD & GOA EXPRESS save the day. I saved the last fifteen minutes for later...'Financial Regulation Board'- FRB. Set in Burnley, UK which is north of Manchester and west of Leeds.

***The clerk said that the United Healthcare account was "inactive", but  probably a glitch in the system. I can't wait to see what they will say when I change insurance at County Market later today.

***As I registered for bloodwork they said my insurance was fine and the problem was with their system. 

***County Market already had the new insurance and Tamsulosin is still on the house.

***Took a gummy on the way out

***A total surprise!!! In a few minutes Joe & Janny were in the office waiting to get Janny's blood test for her kidneys. We visited until I was called.

'STYX- 'Behind The Music' (45")- I didn't realize how big they were (and I had forgotten that they were a Chicago band) and how much tension there was within the group. Some members wanted to 'rock' and some wanted to 'croon'; finished RAINN WILSON on 'Blocks'

550pm:  In the tub with 'THE DEMON LOVER' by ROBIN MORGAN and listening to JOHN COLTRANE- 'Live'; JASON ISBELL- 'Sirens of the Ditch'.

Began DUNCAN TRUSSELL on 'Your Mom's House'.

Began 'GRISELDA' (Netflix). I shut it down 12 minutes into episode #2. The film showcases the evolution of a housewife (her husband was in the 'trade') who becomes a major player in the Columbian coke industry. Not bad, and more than a little lurid.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale.
