720am (2-B). 12pm (2-B). 540pm (2-B). 810pm (2-B).

Up 545am: Just a light dusting of snow last night and light rain early today with temps in the 30's. Then,  changing to snow and falling temps later today.

***Allmusic was down for a couple of hours early this morning. I noticed it back online at 9am.

Watched 'SUBURBICON' (Kanopy). The film is a Black Satire set in a 'typical' American white suburban community in the late  1950's. "Blacks should not be oppressed, but they can't be granted full equality until they change through education and self-reliance".  Racist ideas presented as fair and reasonable points of view makes the tone of the film a bit uncomfortable. And I guess that was the point; with Matt Damon, Julianne Moore, and Oscar Isaac. Directed by George Clooney and written by The Coen Brothers and George Clooney. "42" Metascore; 4 wins & 8 nominations.

Began 'WHITE RIOT' (Kanopy). In the late 70's The National Front became an influential force in British politics. The Right had taken control of the government and the agenda was tax cuts for corporations and the rich and then blame the resulting economic chaos on immigrants and minorities. The National Front wanted to 'Keep England White' and the film is about how a small group of cultural activists fought for a diverse country where all races and creeds were welcome. Oddly enough, Rod Stewart and Eric Clapton were supporters of The National Front. Well worth a look.

1205pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; watched TUESDAYS WITH STORIES; more of SEAN STRICKLAND on THEO VON.

No Weights

Reading 'THE WINDCHIME LEGACY

Called the office of Dr. Garg (217) 280-6954 to update my insurance.

***315pm Buddy threw up for the first time in several days. It was a shock.

445pm: TWO MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; more of SEAN STRICKLAND on THEO VON.

545pm: In the tub with 'THE WINDCHIME LEGACY' and listening to ALLMAN BROTHERS- 'Idlewild South' Deluxe; ALABAMA SHAKES Playlist; DIRTBOMBS- 'Ooey Gooey'.

Began SEAN STRICKLAND on J.R.E.

More 'FOOL ME ONCE' (Netflix). I finished episode #3 and the intrigue is really heating up. QUESTIONABLE FACT: In England if you swerve your car to miss a cat, you are liable for what you hit. If you swerve to miss a dog, then it is considered an accident.  What about a squirrel or a deer?
