***Buddy was yelling around 130am and I didn't get up for an hour and he had puked on the hallway carpet. I fed him at 230am and he seemed fine. 

Watched 'THE NEST' (Netflix). A fascinating profile of a family in dire straits. A stock broker from a poor English family goes to America to strike it big. He and the family have returned to England, and the 'breadwinner' has bitten off far more than he can chew. His wife wants to be an equestrian and her horse dies. The two kids just want to fit in at their new school, and the whole family lives in an ancient mansion in Surrey, England (just southwest of the London metropolitan area) far removed from neighbors, friends, or family. All of them have been severely damaged and maybe dad has learned that being poor as a child does not mean that the world owes him a shortcut, or maybe he hasn't noticed a thing; with Jude Law, Carrie Coon, Oona Roche (her aunts are 'The Roches' musical act), and Charlie Shotwell. 5 wins & 29 nominations. "80" Metascore.

For 'Screen Daily': "... a free-floating societal critique — of materialism, of so-called domestic tranquillity". 

 Began 'RAEL: The Alien Prophet' (Netflix). I shut it down 35 minutes into episode #2. A Frenchman tries to convince the world that 'Jesus was his brother'.  He hoodwinks thousands of 'converts' and with their money he builds a movement. It's the same old story, and still amazes me that anyone would not see through the lies and deception of this timeless theme.  

11am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then hit Esporta. After the workout I'll hit Schnucks for beer, soda, and cat litter.

Began MARK NORMAND on 'Soder'

More 'BOY SWALLOWS UNIVERSE' (Netflix). I shut it down a few minutes into episode #6. Chapter six takes up when Eli is seventeen and a different actor plays the part.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
