Up 630am: Bright & breezy with temps almost to 80, but tomorrow's high is predicted to be only in the low 30's.

***Last night Janny sent me an email saying that Joe's sister, Bonnie is at home and on her deathbed from lung cancer.

Binged the last of 'MONZON: A Knockout Blow' (Netflix). The last episode was a killer because you see their last night together and what actually happened on February 14, 1988. No mention of Valentine's Day. Maybe they don't celebrate that holiday in Argentina.  

Watched 'HELLO, PRIVILEDGE. IT'S ME CHELSEA' (Netflix). It's a comedic discussion of 'White Privilege'... "You've got the complexion for the exception"...

12pm: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then hit Esporta. Later, Schnucks for Natural Light/ Soda/ Antihistamines. 

Weights: 3 sets/ 15 reps.

105pm: To Esporta...45" Precor.  45"Treadmill. 30"Cross.  30"Recumbent. 30" Precor; watched 'THE CASSETTE: A Documentary MixTapes (Amazon Prime)- It was a German invention and they didn't really explain how the Japanese got it; more 'REACHER' (Amazon Prime).

SCHNUCKS: $32- Cold pills, Natural Light, Canada Dry ginger ale.

540pm: In the tub to begin 'THE COUP' by JOHN UPDIKE and listening to TEN YEARS AFTER- 'Best of'; ELVIS COSTELLO Playlist.

Watched a podcast about Shane Gillis doing SNL.

Began 'WILD DISTRICT' (Netflix).  I shut it down 22 minutes into episode #2. A look at corruption in Columbia. This is going to be a good series and there is already a season 2.

I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
