Watched 'THE SILENCE' (Amazon Prime). Two men are out for a drive and one of them rapes and kills an eleven year old girl. The man who didn't participate flees and takes a new identity. Twenty-three years later the rapist kills another girl in the same spot. He was sending a message to his friend that he wanted to see him again. What a strange & creepy story and very well presented. Filmed in Bavaria, Germany near the town of Thuringia.  One win & 4 nominations. "72" Metascore.    

Watched 'FREEWAY II: Confessions of a Trickbaby' (Tubi). Two female teens escape custody in the US and flee to Mexico. Reese Witherspoon was compelling in 'FREEWAY I', but this film is not nearly as good and a twisted retelling of 'Hansel & Gretel'; with Natasha Syonne, Maria Celedonio, David Alan Grier, Vincent Gallo, and Max Perlich. 

1130am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to hit Planet Fitness and I'd like to get the car washed on the way home.

More 'DEADWIND' (Netflix). I shut it down 7 minutes into episode #6. I wonder how much of this I'll understand at the end of the last episode. With so many layers, and so many twists and turns that I'm sure I'll be in the dark.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character.
