Up 555am: {Buddy threw up a bit of clear liquid as I was waking. He seemed fine and ate with his usual ferociousness}. A mix of sun and clouds with temps to about 70. 

Watched 'OUT OF THE FURNACE' (Tubi) {Janny recommended this film} One brother works at the mill and the other brother fights for Uncle Sam in Iraq. Neither man has the slightest chance at a better life and frustration and broken dreams lead to violence; with Christian Bale, Casey Affleck, Woody Harrelson, and Sam Shepard. 1 win & 10 nominations. "63" Metascore. A powerful film! Set and filmed in Braddock, Pennsylvania which is adjacent to US STEEL and 10 miles east of downtown Pittsburgh, PA.

I watched a couple of reviews on YouTube and part of an interview with Christian Bale. He had a pronounced English accent and the reason that he got into acting was that he could make a lot of money and help his family.  

More of 'THE TOURIST' (Netflix). I shut it down with an hour and ten minutes left to go and I'll finish the series tonight. 

Screwed around with the pot shop's website and got 'shake' for one of the items. I'll switch to another 'Indica Bud' when I get to the store. 

1155am: PC is 'Off' and will hit the treadmill

1215pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; watched 'HOMICIDE:  New York (Netflix)- Well mannered Black man rapes and murders in Harlem; began a 'WE MIGHT BE DRUNK' with DAVE ATTELL. 

210pm:  To pot shop; I saved $40 and I got the 'wisdom discount'! I get another 10% off on the second visit. THREE QUARTER OUNCES for $168.36!!! Home by 240pm.

Reading 'BUTTERFIELD 8'

440pm: TWO MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; more of DAVE ATTELL on 'WE MIGHT BE DRUNK'.

540pm: In the tub to finish 'BUTTERFIELD 8' and began 'AMSTERDAM' by IAN MCEWAN & listening to MICK FLEETWOOD BLUES BAND Live;  FLEETWOOD MAC Playlist;  J. GEILS Playlist. 

Finished DAVE ATTELL on 'We Might Be Drunk'

Finished 'THE TOURIST' (Netflix). As the credits roll the file that contains the mystery man's history file is burned in the fire and he is dancing as if he was a trained ballet dancer in his previous life. What a strange series and truly like nothing else.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
