Watched 'A MAP OF THE WORLD' (Amazon Prime).  A woman lives with her husband and two young daughters on a small dairy farm in Wisconsin. The children are a handful and their family life is slightly chaotic. When a two year old drowns in their pond, mom is forever changed. Things shift from bad to worse after she is accused of child abuse at her job as the local school nurse. It's a wild and wooly ride although the film might have followed too many changes in emotional direction; Sigourney Weaver, Julianne Moore, David Strathairn, Chloe Sevigny, and Louise Fletcher. 3 wins & 6 nominations. "66" Metascore and I would have rated it just slightly higher. Set in Wisconsin and shot in Toronto, Canada and some exterior shots in Chicago.

Began 'OXY-MORONS' (Amazon Prime).  A gritty Independent film about drugs and racism in South Boston. I shut it down at 50 minutes and there's an hour left for tonight. I'll finish this film before I continue with the Colombian plane hijacking series. 

1140am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to walk Washington Park and later mow the lawn instead of a late afternoon session on the treadmill.

***Buddy was sick on the wood floor between the living room and the hallway. And, I noticed (730pm) that a guy was digging post holes for the privacy fence next door.

Finished 'OXY-MORONS' (Amazon Prime). Slightly better than a student film with buckets of blood and oceans of attitude. Filmed in the Winthrop and Charleston areas of Boston, Massachusetts.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
