***Last night the downstairs PC asked for a 'restart' and this morning I had to update the living room PC. Both went smoothly and only took a couple of minutes. 

Borrowed 'BEAST' & 'BABY RUBY' from Hoopla. 

Watched 'BEAST' (Hoopla). A young woman falls for a local 'bad boy' in the thick of a multiple murder investigation. She's carrying the guilt of attacking  a girl with scissors when she was in high school and her 'bad boy' is guilty and in the end she strangles him.  The revelation that they are 'the same' was quite a stretch. The tension and red herrings kept things moving along, but the ending was a bit of a letdown; with Johnny Flynn & Jessie Buckley and filmed on Jersey, Channel Islands, UK. "74" Metascore and I would have rated much lower, but still worth a look.

915am: PC is 'Off' and will get in a long walk before it heats up. Weights later.

***Lots of downed branches along Wiggins and Wash.Pk.  Last night's storm missed The Oaks, but did some damage near the park.

Reading 'BABEL'S CHILDREN' by CLIVE BARKER (novella). {Not very good and I don't understand the hype around this author. I'm not feeling it} 

455pm:  TWO MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; more of SAM VULCANO on J.R.E. 

550pm:  In the tub and finished 'BABEL'S CHILDREN & continued 'FINGERSMITH' and listening to LED ZEPPELIN II Deluxe; PERE UBU Playlist; CARDIACS Playlist. 

Began RAY ROMANO on 'Club Random'.

More 'YOUR HONOR' (Netflix). I shut it down 14 minutes into episode #6.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
