Watched 'CLOSE' (Hoopla). Leo and Remi are two twelve year old boys in rural Belgium who are best friends. They have a falling out and Remi commits suicide. Guilt over Leo's responsibility is the core theme- " I pushed him away". An interesting profile of someone who is experiencing same sex attraction and his confusion over feelings of  anger, shame, and regret.  Nominated for 1 Oscar; 58 wins & 83 nominations. "81" Metascore. Filmed near Zundert, Netherlands and Wetteren, Belgium.

Watched 'HE WENT THAT WAY' (Kanopy).  A 'Buddy/ Road Film' about two guys and a chimpanzee. One of the guys is a serial killer and nothing about this film made any sense. As the end credits roll an old man relates his encounter with an infamous serial killer from Kalamazoo, MI, Larry Lee Ranes. Did the real killer meet an animal trainer and his pet chimp while hitchhiking? Filmed near Palmdale, Lancaster, and Piru in Southern California. "37" Metascore and I'm surprised that they were able to find any viewers who would watch it.

Wrote The Chat and messed around in YouTube trying to find the next video for the treadmill.

1pm: The PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk on the treadmill. At 6am it was far too hot to walk outside.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
