Up 640am: Bright & sunny to cloudy with temps to mid 90's. I talked to the guy next door after I watered the plants out front. He was talking about his experience with Williams Plumbing. They had to 'snake' his sewer lines and it was very expensive. I told him about my difficulty with their 'monthly plan' many years ago. And now I'm running late. 

Watched 'GOLD BRICK' (Netflix). Workers at a French perfume company steal perfume and if they keep it below 1.1% of the total inventory it won't be noticeable to company accountants. That was the plan, but when the company is up for sale things take a turn. An interesting take on French economics and I don't know how this might have been if it had been set in the US. 

More of '30 for 30: THE LIFE & TRIALS OF OSCAR PISTORIUS' (Netflix). I shut it down one hour into episode #2. I will continue the series on the treadmill. 

1235pm: PC is 'Off' and preparing to do 5 miles on the treadmill.

105pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; More '30 for 30' (Netflix)- Lots of information on both sides of the case. I'll finish the series tonight;  more DAN ST. GERMAIN on 'HONEY DEW'.

Finished '30 for 30' Oscar Pistorious' (Netflix). I can almost believe Oscar's version of events. He woke up to move the fans in the bedroom and did not hear his girlfriend leave the room to go to the bathroom. When he heard the bathroom window being raised he could have thought that his girlfriend was still in the bedroom with him and an intruder had entered his home. It's not impossible and it could have happened like he said. I shut it down at 1 hr and 2 minutes with 45" remaining to the end of the series. I'll finish tomorrow morning.

Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
