Watched 'THE PROMISED LAND' (Hoopla). Set in 1755 a retired captain tries to farm 'Jutland', a barren peninsula of Germany that will later be known as 'Denmark'. It's the King's land, but a corrupt nobleman wants it for himself. The two men clash, and the captain loses, but the area becomes settled and cultivated. Potatoes save the day and a young girl is 'bad luck' because her skin is darker than the local yokels; with Mads Mikkelsen. 21 wins & 15 nominations. "77" Metascore and that's about where I'd rate it. An unusual treatment of basically an 'American Western' set in Old World Europe- In the US the plot would have been that a rich cattleman owned all the land and tried to keep the settlers powerless and dependent upon him.

Watched 'THE SIXTH: An Unseen Geography and Timeline of January 6th' (Kanopy). I shut it down at one hour. An absolutely riveting documentary and clearly shows the scope of the Trump failed insurrection and exposes the lie that it was just 'patriotic Americans visiting the Capitol'.  I will finish this tonight. [When I noticed that I had the Kanopy app on the phone I finished at Planet Fitness] 

1120am: The PC is 'Off' and will do the weights and then hit Planet Fitness.

***Buddy threw up mostly clear liquid between the living room & hall.  He seemed fine.

More 'YOUR HONOR' (Netflix). I shut it down 36 minutes into episode #8.
