While I was watering the flowers at 6am the guy doing the roofing work next door arrived and his crew arrived soon after; total- an old man and the two guys that put up the security fence. 

Entered 'THE QUIET GAME' by Greg Iles in the blog. 

Watched 'ANATOMY OF A FALL' (Kanopy). A man falls from a window in a remote cabin near Grenoble, France. Did he fall from the attic window or did his wife knock him out and then shove him out the window? However, the film is not primarily focused on an answer to that question, but offers more of an examination of the couple's marriage, their relationship to their son, and how they handled  their careers. He's a frustrated teacher and she is a successful fiction author. I didn't think there was not a clear resolution because the film attempts to demonstrate that focusing on one perspective can create a distorted portrayal of reality; with Sandra Huller & directed by Justine Triet. Won 1 Oscar; 113 wins & 178 nominations. "86" Metascore. A terrific legal procedural and heavy Hitchcockian overtones. Set in Grenoble, France which is in the southeastern part of the country near the borders of Switzerland and Italy.

More 'THE STRANGER' (Netflix). I finished episode #6 and two chapters remain. I'll finish the series at Planet Fitness this afternoon. 

1130am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then to hit Planet Fitness.

1220pm: To Planet Fitness ***I finished 18 minutes on the Cross when they turned on the 'lunk sirens and everyone began leaving. I asked a trainer and he said that there was a gas leak. Within 10 minutes I was on the machines at Esporta ***30" Precor.  45"Treadmill.  30" Cross.  30" Recumbent Bike.  30"Precor;  finished 'THE STRANGER' (Netflix)- So many secrets and it keeps you guessing to the final scene; finished the interview with BRENDAN O'BRIEN & began an interview with the guy from COLLECTIVE SOUL; began 'DEPP V HEARD (Netflix)

Began 'SAFE' (Netflix) {Another HARLAN COBAN series that I have seen, but I know it's worth a second look} This is also a Harlan Coben series filmed in Manchester, Liverpool, and Cheshire, UK. Coban's 'THE STRANGER' was filmed near the same location.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
