Up 530am: Hot & nasty with a Heat Advisory in effect until 8pm on Monday. Heat index values up to 110 are expected. AC is 'On' until this passes. 

Weekly Cleaning and watered the flowers (5").

Watched 'VANISHED INTO THE NIGHT' (Netflix).  The first act seemed like this would be really something, but it's just a down & dirty custody battle set on the beautiful southeastern coast of Italy. The wife tricks her husband into doing a drug deal so that she can discredit him as a responsible parent in the continuing custody battle. I was expecting more twists and the film kind of went out with a whimper. An Italian remake of an Argentinian film. Filmed in southern Italy in the regions of Apulia and Matera- especially the coastal city of Otranto on the Adriatic Sea. 

930am: Even though the 'feels like' temperature is 90 degrees, I'm going to take a walk outside and do the weights later.

Pk southside, up the road, Parkview, Fairway, and up to 940. ONE HOUR AND 30 MINUTES; KINGS X- 'Dogman'; SMASHING PUMPKINS- 'Siamese Twins'; finished SEBASTIAN JUNKER on J.R.E. {Mostly cloudy, but during the last ten minutes of the walk the sun came out and it turned very hot & nasty}

1140am: Fired up the downstairs PC for an afternoon movie.

Watched 'THE DOOMSDAY CULT OF ANTARES DE LA LUZ' (Netflix).  A young man convinces a group that he is the reincarnation of Jesus. He impregnates one of the women and after the baby is born he has the group burn the child alive to prevent 'the end of the world'. Many interviews with key people in the cult.  Antares was from Penalolen, Chile which is a southeastern suburb of Santiago, Chile and he committed suicide by hanging. 

240pm: Downstairs PC is 'Off' and back upstairs to read.

420pm: THREE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; more of TIM DILLON on TUCKER CARLSON. 

540pm: In the tub with 'LAZARUS' and listening to JEFF BECK- 'Beckology'; WHO- 'Tommy' Deluxe.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
