Up615am: Partly cloudy with temps to about 80. Out of the blue, we had a light rain during the early afternoon and it was so humid that the water didn't dry up until later afternoon. None of this was in the weather report or on weather radar. 

When I got up to take a leak and feed Buddy at 4am the power was 'On' and when I awoke at 615am I noticed that the overhead fan was not running. I thought I might have switched it off at 4, but then I noticed that the nightlight was out. 

***Later I noticed that somebody had posted that the power was out in the Oaks and someone else replied that there was a bad accident on Chatham at Lawrence. Was there a connection? 

I knew it's best to get out of the house because there is nothing worse than waiting for the internet to come back. While I was smoking the bong to prepare for a walk I noticed a shining nightlight.

***No problem getting back on line, but I had to manually turn on the soundbars on both PCs.  However, the annoying red light on the wifi router is back to gray.  

Watched 'THE INSPECTION' (Netflix). A young black gay man seeks a new direction in his life and decides to give the Marines a shot. Boot camp was hell, but he persevered and in the end, even the gay bashers think he's okey dokey.  I found it a little hard to believe although it's based on the director's actual experience as a Marine;  12 wins & 30 nominations. "73" Metascore. Electronic score by 'ANIMAL COLLECTIVE'.

Watched an episode of 'HITLER'S CIRCLE OF EVIL' (Netflix). I shut it down 25 minutes into episode #7. Excellent profiles of the men who orchestrated the Third Reich. 

1245pm: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to read the John Irving novel and maybe do three miles later this afternoon.

Reading 'A WIDOW FOR ONE YEAR'

Learned that Biden Drops out & Harris is his pick.

***425pm: THREE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; watched an old TUESDAYS WITH STORIES.

540pm: In the tub with 'A WIDOW FOR ONE YEAR' and listening to MILES DAVIS- 'Champions'; MASTERS OF REALITY Playlist; MC5- 'Kick Out The Jams'. 

***Learned that Biden has dropped out of the race for president and hands the Democratic nomination over to Harris. I wonder if he can do this or will they have to vote for a new candidate at the convention in Chicago? 

Finished 'TUESDAYS WITH STORIES' and began ANDREW SANTINO on THEO VON.

More 'KLEO' (Netflix). I shut it down 45 minutes into episode #5. This really has a quirky style and an exceptional set design.
