Up 530am: Cloudy & humid with temps to mid 80's and we got about a half inch of rain last night.

Buddy threw up in the sink sometime last night. No dishes or utensils were impacted and hopefully this is not a trend.

Weekly Cleaning

Watched 'FREUD'S LAST SESSION' (Netflix).  The film is largely based on a hypothetical meeting between Sigmund Freud and C.S. Lewis in which they debate and discuss the existence of God and Freud's relationship with his daughter, Anna. She 'comes out' as a lesbian at the end of the movie and it's stiff and not believable in the slightest.  FACT:  Freud's daughter never married and was in a forty year relationship (she claimed platonic) with a woman. Ana is credited with founding the discipline of psychoanalysis for children; with Anthony Hopkins, Matthew Goode, and Liv Lisa Fries. "48" Metascore and that's about where I'd rate it, only because it's very hard to blend fact and fiction when dealing with historical figures... "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting a different outcome each time. Then it follows that sanity is the ease with which you are able to change your mind". 

Watched 'BODIES BODIES BODIES' (Netflix).  It's a satire of the Teen Scream film genre with a who-dunnit plot that offers a slightly skewed variation on Agatha Christie. Participants play a game where each person draws a slip of paper and whoever gets the 'M' is the murderer. Although, in this case there is no murderer because the host accidentally slit his own throat with a Samurai sword while trying to pop the cork on a bottle of champagne.  Rampant fear and mistrust pairs the group down to only two, and they don't even trust each other; with Pete Davidson and many others. 2 wins & 16 nominations. "69" Metascore. I had seen this 'cult film' before and it was well worth a second look.  

1215am: PC is 'Off' and not sure if I'll do a walk or hit the treadmill. Treadmill is winning.

110pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; finished 'YOU BE TRIPPIN' with MARK NORMAND [Paris].

***I had to do a Windows Update but it only took a couple of minutes.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
