Watched 'RUN SWEETHEART RUN' (Amazon Prime). It's a surreal Crazy & Gross Feminist Lady Boss Man film. A professional woman is sent by her boss to meet a man for a 'work date' and her date is a demon. The demon allows her to flee but needs her dead by sunrise. He's got the advantage because he can smell her blood and she's on her period. "51" Metascore. I'd rate it slightly higher because it aimed very high and it was a hoot. 

Frome IndieWire.com: "... blood-soaked yowl of feminine rage in a tidy horror package that can barely contain all its biggest ideas."  

***I shut the house up for the AC at 1015am. Even though it was only in the lower 70's it was extremely humid. 

Watched 'THE SHORT HISTORY OF THE LONG ROAD' (Amazon Prime).  A teenage girl and her father are contemporary nomads on America's highways and byways. When dad dies suddenly, Nola (she's named after New Orleans, Louisiana) takes the van to see her mother (that she never met) and finds the owner of a car repair joint that gives her life a new direction. This is an entirely different take on 'the homeless' in that it wasn't sticky, sweet or overly dire. Two Female Empowerment films in one morning; with Sabrina Carpenter and Danny Trejo in a supporting role. "60" Metascore.   

1220pm: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk on the treadmill.

More 'THE STRANGER' (Netflix). Finished episode #4. This is the best plot of a series that I've seen in a long while. 

***The guy across the street has got a party on the front lawn and they are shooting off tons of fireworks. And, many neighbors on the street over from Westview are shooting off stuff as well. Don't they have to work tomorrow? {They were all done by 10pm}
