Up 510am: Light rain early then cloudy with temps to mid 80's & very muggy. [One half inch of rain fell last night]

Watched 'INSIDE THE YELLOW COCOON SHELL' (Hoopla).  A Vietnamese Art Film about a man who becomes the ward of his sister in law's four year old boy. She was killed in a motorcycle accident and he must handle her burial and then try to reunite the boy with his father. The plot is secondary to the mesmerizing scenes that are shot as if they were recording dreams.  Motorbikes slowly navigating a two lane highway through a small rural town in dense fog is a real show-stopper and there are a dozen scenes that are just as haunting. ***The funeral was 20 million dongs (Vietnamese currency) or approx. $786.*** I had seen this one before and it felt like revisiting old and half-forgotten dream fragments. 5 wins &16 nominations. "94" and that's about where I would put it. The perfect film to feature at a film festival.  

Finished 'UNTOLD: Swamp Kings' (Netflix). Tim Tebow is like Harry 'Rabbit' Angstrom. They both peaked early and it was down from there.

1250pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; watched an old TUESDAYS WITH STORIES and it was hilarious; more 'PROTECT OUR PARKS'.

More 'THE STRANGER' (Netflix). I shut it down 29 minutes into episode #3. The series is from 2020 and I don't remember a single scene, but the plot is familiar from reading the novel. Of course, I don't remember 'whodunit' but I do remember the part about the faked pregnancies.
