725am (2-LB). 8am (1-B). 955am (1-LB). 110pm (2-LB). 535pm (2-LB). 815pm (2-LB).
Up 545am: A mix of sun & clouds with temps to upper 70's. Unbelievable temperatures for mid August in central Illinois.
Watched 'CRYPTO BOY' (Netflix). It's a lightweight film of the 'Father/ Son' variety. Dad has run his taco diner for years, but urban developers are forcing him out. His adult son works at the shop and thinks that investing in the new crypto currencies might save the day. They bet everything they have and lose it all, yet they bond and become closer than ever by sprucing up the joint and changing the menu. It strains a bit for 'heartfelt', but somewhat worth a look. Why an Egyptian would immigrate to the Netherlands and open a Mexican restaurant might have made a more interesting story. Set in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Watched 'BLOOD AND BONE' (Netflix). A martial arts street fighter fights his way to the top of the heap and we've seen it all before. The story is barely to the level of a comic book and it would take far more than a few highly orchestrated fight scenes to make it memorable; with Michael Jai White as the fighter and Eamonn Walker as the evil fight promoter. I shut it down with 25 minutes left to go and I might finish it at Planet Fitness later this afternoon.
Wrote a short Chat.
1220pm: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then head to Planet Fitness for the workout.
Weights: 3 sets/ 15 reps
120pm: To Planet Fitness...TWO HOURS AND 30 MINUTES..."Cross, 45"Treadmill, 30"Bike, 15"Treadmill, 15"Cross; watched 'LOVE, CHARLIE: The Rise and Fall of Chef Charlie Trotters (Netflix)- A profile of the infamous Chicago restaurateur. He was a superstar for over two decades and then his ego got out of control; a 'WE MIGHT BE DRUNK'; finished 'BLOOD AND BONE' (Netflix).
Reading 'DARK SACRED NIGHT' and listening to MOTT THE HOOPLE- 'Mott'; BAD COMPANY- 'Deluxe Edition'; FACES Playlist.
Began BERNIE SANDERS on THEO VON.
More 'UNAUTHORIZED LIVING' (Netflix). I shut it down 1 hr and 3 minutes into episode #5. It's still compelling and hasn't lost a bit of forward momentum.
