Wrote up 'DEMON COPPERHEAD' for the blog.

***Yesterday afternoon I noticed a U-Haul trailer in the driveway of the people across the street. It was hooked to their gray station wagon and this morning I watched two middle aged women try to load it. They had a desk that would not fit. It was a comedy of errors as they put it in and then took it out...over and over again. {Late in the day it looked as if a daughter (?) was moving out} 

Watched 'SATAN WANTS YOU' (Kanopy). A terrific documentary that traces the Satanic Panic phenomenon that swept the globe during the 80's and 90's.  It all began with a Canadian woman and her psychiatrist. Under analysis she began to recall uncountable memories of forced participation in satanic rites and rituals that had been deleted from her memory. Was there actual collusion between the two or did they actually believe their incredible story? The Catholic Church backed 'MICHELLE REMEMBERS' with a $10,000 donation because they felt it was a factual and important book for Catholic parishioners.  Numerous police departments, the FBI, and the justice department began finding 'cults' and prosecuting people for bogus crimes tied to Satan. The Satanic Panic loses steam once the insurance companies start investigating the outrageous claims and stop paying for the therapy. Then clients  realize that their memories had been 'planted' and they successfully sue their therapists. It's sad that although the entire genre was completely discredited, the retraction was far less powerful than the lie. 'Pizzagate' is just another iteration of the same old church propaganda. 

Finished 'THE INVITATION' (Netflix). The couple are in the backyard and notice all of the 'red lanterns' that are lit on the hills and valleys in the distance. Was this some kind of orchestrated event? And, if so, is it local or maybe just the beginning of something much larger in scope?

More of 'UNAUTHORIZED LIVING' (Netflix). I shut it down 36 minutes into episode #2 and I will continue the series tonight. 

1150am: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then spend the afternoon at Esporta. After the workout, I'll stop at Schnucks for beer, soda, and cat litter.

1240pm: To Esporta... 45" Precor,  45"Treadmill,  30"Cross,  30"Recumbent Bike,  30"Precor;  Watched 'WHO KILLED JILL DANDO? (Netflix)- Britain's beloved news anchor is shot dead in front of her London townhouse in April of 1999 and it is still unsolved; finished CHRIS PORTER on 'SODER';  began JACK BLACK on 'BAD FRIENDS'.

Schnucks: $15- Diet Ginger Ale/ Cat Litter 

Reading 'AH, TREACHERY', but getting bored & confused. I'll get back to it,  but right now I'm not feeling it.

550pm: In the tub to begin 'DARK SACRED NIGHT' by Michael Connelly and listening to GINGER BAKER Playlist; BLACK CROWES- 'By Your Side'; MILES DAVIS Playlist.

More 'UNAUTHORIZED LIVING' (Netflix). I shut it down 27 minutes into episode #3. The actor playing 'Nemo' was in the excellent Spanish series about a bar owner and his friends who are trying to keep their historic neighborhood safe from drug gangs and crooked land developers.
