Watched 'LOST BULLET' (Netflix). A French 'Cop/ Thriller' about a talented auto mechanic who is pulled from jail and put on a work release program. He's to help the police beef up their fleet of drug interdiction vehicles. Some of the cops are corrupt and running drugs themselves. Mayhem ensues. Basically the film is an opportunity to feature some nifty car chases and magnificent car crashes glommed on to an underdeveloped storyline. There is already a 'LOST BULLET 2' on Netflix. Filmed in Sete, France which is on the coast of southern France about 30 minutes southwest of Montpellier; with Alban Lenoir, Nicolas Duvauchelle, Ramzy Bedia.  "78" Metascore. I guess if you like this kind of thing, the film is for you.

Watched 'SITTING IN BARS WITH CAKE' (Amazon Prime).  Earlier in the week I saw one of the actresses in 'FRESH KILLS' {mob picture that centered on the role of women in a crime family}. This is an odd 'Chick Flick' based on actual events. Two friends cruise the hip spots of greater Los Angeles with free slices of elegant cakes that one of them has baked. The premise is that they are doing this so that the shy baker girl can meet guys. Then the other girl gets terminal brain cancer and after she passes, the 'baker girl' monetizes the idea and opens a bakery in Silverlake. The odd angle is that you can't stop wondering if they are just best friends or frustrated lovers. Maybe it's meant as a celebration of 'fluid sexuality'; with Yara Shahidi, Odessa A'zion (FRESH KILLS), Ron Livingston, Bette Midler. "64" Metascore and I would rate it just a point or two less than "64".

1pm: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do 5 miles on the treadmill. It's far too hot & humid to walk outside.

125pm:  FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT;  more of 'HITLER'S INNER CIRCLE' (Netflix)- Second to the last episode. Down in the bunker; began QUENTIN TARANTINO on 'CLUB RANDOM'.

545pm: In the tub with 'THE ASSOCIATE' and listening to MASTERS OF REALITY Playlist; WHO- 'Less Than Classics'.

More of QUENTIN TARANTINO on 'CLUB RANDOM'. Quentin likes his smoke and almost Bogarts the joint from Bill. 

More 'UNAUTHORIZED LIVING' (Netflix). I shut it down 11 minutes into episode #11. Thirteen episodes in season #1. I'll take a break when I finish the season, but I will most definitely be back for season #2.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character.
