Back to Indica

630am (2-LB). 710am (1-B). 1230pm (2-LB). 215pm (1-LB). 445pm (1/2-B). 540pm (2-LB). 810pm (2-LB).

I awoke at 230am and thought it was time to get up and I even pulled on sweatpants before I realised the correct time. I got up (for real) at 5am and a raging thunderstorm was in progress. Today it will be cloudy with occasional rain and temps to about 80.

*I tried to check the status on the FOID application and couldn't change the password. The State Police should hire a team to create a better website because the one they have is worthless. Most people will try a few times and then never come back. I know I did.

Watched 'MEMORIES OF MURDER' (Tubi) {I heard Sam Morril talking about this film on a podcast}.  In 1986 a hapless police department in rural South Korea tried to solve a series of  murders involving young women. They beat suspects, planted evidence and tried to frame anyone that they could, yet still failed to get their man. It's almost like an 'Anti- Police Procedural' because the cops' methods were laughable. In the final scene the film skips ahead to 2003 and the original detective is now a salesman. He's returned to the site of the first killing and meets a young girl who claims that another man had recently been to the scene. She saw the culprit, but all she could say was that 'he seemed ordinary'.  I watched a ten minute YouTube video about the film and learned that it was based on a real South Korean serial killer and it wasn't until 2019 that he was caught. Directed by Bong Joon Ho. 33 wins & 10 nominations. "82" Metascore and that's about where I'd rate it.

More of 'THE SIGNAL' (Netflix). I shut it down 25 minutes into episode #3. The 'crazy' lady astronaut (call them 'visions', not 'hallucinations') finds that the 'hello' voice is connected to something that is heading toward earth and will make contact in a matter of weeks.  It seems that the authorities are doing everything to keep this secret. Suspense is building, and I'm liking the series more as it unfolds.

12pm: The PC is 'Off' and will do Five Miles on the treadmill; began a 'TIGER BELLY'.

***VET CALLED: 2 twists in morning & 1 at night. Call in mid October for more blood work.

545pm"In the tub with 'DEMON COPPERHEAD' and listening to CHICAGO Playlist;

1235pm:  FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; finished AMERICAN MURDER: Laci Peterson (Netflix). He did it!; finished 'CLUB RANDOM' with the actor who was 'The Pres' in 'IDIOCRACY'.

Weights:  3 sets/ 15 reps.

Reading 'DEMON COPPERHEAD'

420pm: Buddy threw up in the living room. Whenever I try to up his food intake, he gets sick. No word from the vet.

445pm: TWO MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; CHICAGO Playlist; WHO- 'Live at Hull; 1970'.

More RANDALL PARK on 'Tiger Belly'.

*At 8pm I noticed that the PC was asking for a restart. It only took a couple of minutes yet there was no discernable difference...as usual.

More 'THE SIGNAL' (Netflix). There's only 20 minutes left in the series and it's getting late so I'll complete it tomorrow morning.
