Watched 'THE PIRATES OF SOMALIA' (Hoopla). A young Canadian with an avid interest in journalism travels to Somalia to get first hand information about pirates. He hopes to write a book about the Somalian pirates that were hijacking ships in the Gulf of Aden. The film tries to be sympathetic to the rebels, but it isn't even close to being insightful or realistic although it is based on the real life adventures of the Canadian journalist, Jay Bahadur; with Evan Peters, Barkhad Abdi (CAPTAIN PHILLIPS), Al Pacino, and Melanie Griffith (nearly unrecognizable). "54" Metascore and I'm surprised that it was even rated, let alone the relatively high score.  

Finished 'DELIVER US FROM EVIL' (Kanopy). A superior documentary about the infamous Irish/ American Catholic priest, Oliver O'Grady. It features personal insights into his behavior with children and emotional interviews with his sexual victims and their families. "86" Metascore and I might even add a few points. It's not a horror film, but it's definitely horrifying. 

Spent an inordinate amount of time beefing up 'My Lists' at Kanopy. 

1140am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do FIVE MILES on the treadmill and possibly drive to County Market for dates, apples, and tall kitchen bags. 

1220pm:  FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; began SAM TALLENT on 'WE MIGHT BE'.

Finished FAHIM ANWAR & SAM TALLENT on 'WE MIGHT BE DRUNK'.

More 'UNAUTHORIZED LIVING' (Netflix). I shut it down 37 minutes into episode #8. Did a search on Jose Coronado, the Spanish actor who plays 'Nemo'.  Not as big a movie star as I thought and mostly known for TV roles and his romantic exploits.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
