Up 615am: It looked like it would rain early, but it all moved south of the city.  Then sunny with temps to only the mid 70's, but the heat is back this weekend. 

*I noticed Buddy had thrown up in front of the bathroom door sometime last night. This is the first time that he's thrown up anything in more than a week. I hope he doesn't revert after the reduction in the thyroid medicine. Last night's incident might have been connected to a hairball that seemed to be in the vomit.  

***I trimmed some of the top branches on the maple tree in front. Now the tree is not above the level of the roof, it looks OK and the branches made it into the big blue barrel for today's pickup. 

Watched 'THE BOONDOCK SAINTS' (Kanopy).  A couple of Irish hoodlums from South Boston (and their hapless Italian friend, Rocco) decide to cleanse the world of evil men by employing extreme vigilante justice. It's all tongue-in-cheek with outrageous shenanigans and crazy dialogue. Willem Dafoe is so over the top that he appears to be acting in his own movie and he's a hoot; with Sean Patrick Flanery, Norman Reedus, David Della Rocco, Billy Connolly, and Willem Dafoe. Directed by Troy Duffy. "44" Metascore and I would have rated it at least 20 points higher.

Began 'DELIVER US FROM EVIL' (Kanopy). Interviews with priests who molested kids & their families. Chilling to watch and hated to shut it down (the visit) and will watch the last 45" tomorrow morning. 

A little after 11am I got a call from Janny and they wanted to drop by 940 because Joe has some information about the passport issue and she's got some tomatoes for me.

*Heartland called false charges {a hotel room in Germany} on debit. Very odd.

12pm- 1pm: The Brandenburgs. I forgot to give her the books that I recommended; 'A WIDOW FOR ONE YEAR' & 'THE COP HATERS'.

125pm- 315pm: Walked to Heartland & back for a duplicate debit card. She changed the pin when I got the card. The erroneous charge was to a German hotel. The old number was part of a series,  but all new numbers are random....Lynnhaven,  Bellerive,  &  back Golf,  Oakmont; WHO- 'Live @ Hull; ADAM SANDLER on J.R.E.

More 'UNAUTHORIZED LIVING' (Netflix). I shut it down 41 minutes into episode #7. Now the family knows that Nemo is sick. The power struggle begins in earnest.

We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
