Up 6am: Clouds & light rain/mist for most of the day with temps only to about 70. There is a Wind Advisory that begins at 1pm and gusts could top 40 mph. We're dealing with the fringes of Hurricane Helene. 

On the treadmill early because I want to get in all the mileage before the roof inspection at 3pm.

Began 'MONSTERS' (Netflix). I shut it down 28 minutes into episode #4. A great cast creates a compelling and unique profile of a toxically dysfunctional family. Although I can't really sympathize with the brothers, it's easy to understand the reasons for their actions. But, maybe that's why sociopaths are so dangerous. They are able to make their thoughts and actions seem  reasonable even when the facts and evidence are in conflict. 

The weather radar map is very strange due to Hurricane Helene. This afternoon the winds are rotating in a northwesterly direction. Normally the currents travel from northwest to south east

115pm: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to hit the treadmill in plenty of time to meet with the roof guys. 

The roof inspection guy called just as I finished a couple of hits before the treadmill. The salesman finished early at his last appointment and said he'd be able to be at 940 in fifteen minutes. 

2pm- 220pm: Visit from PERFECT CHOICE.  Check the roof again in a few years. Watch for 'curling' & 'depressions'; $15,000- $20,000.

More 'MONSTERS' (Netflix). I shut it down 13 minutes into episode #6. The long scene where Erik tells of his sexual abuse to his lawyer is truly powerful. The lawyer's face is never shown. You only see the back of her head as she gently probes and listens to Erik's sick life or did he just make it all up.
