Watched 'THE LINE' (Kanopy- borrowed yesterday). An odd tale of how a family copes with a restraining order. The violent daughter must spend the next three months behind 'a thin blue line' that is one hundred meters from the family residence. The opening scene was unforgettable: The daughter is violently subdued during a crazy altercation on a Catholic holy day. A superior Independent film, but affecting and beautiful settings. Filmed in Port-Valais, Canton du Valais, Switzerland which is east of Geneva and on the shore of Lac Leman {Lake Geneva}. 4 wins & 6 nominations. "60" Metascore and I would have added at least 10 points. 'The Guardian'- "...engrossing, unnerving but unexpectedly sympathetic drama of family dysfunction".    

Watched a few TickTock Videos on YouTube. More addicting than any drug and soon they will be able to curate your videos to be more precise, exacting and specifically tailored for you. You will never be able to shut them off. 

Watched a YouTube 'True Crime'...'Murder At The Beauty Salon'- A Florida hair stylist was probably murdered at the salon by a coworker. Her murderer cut up the body with an electric knife, bagged the pieces, and then placed them in a dumpster. Although the body was never found, the co-worker was sentenced to life. She didn't get the chair because the state could not prove premeditation. All they could say was that a fight of some kind occurred in the salon, but it could have been self-defense. The women lived in seventeen different states under multiple aliases and most likely a true sociopath. 

1140am: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to mow the lawn and cut down the flowers in front. First I'm going to trim the flowers with hedge clippers and hopefully the refuse will fit in the blue can. {The dead flowers didn't even create enough to notice. I just mowed them down.} 

1220pm- 125pm: Cutting & mowing & trimming & sweeping. Front flowers are gone till Spring.

Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
