Around 820am the woman next door had a large appliance or big flatscreen TV delivered. This has been an expensive summer for the old lady. She's had a major repair to the roof, a security fence installed, and a bathroom remodel. That's got to have cost her thousands of dollars even if she got the best deals available. This morning she was out briefly when the appliance was delivered and she looks really old, overweight, and walks with a cane

Watched 'THE BRAVE ONE' (Hoopla). An unusual 'Lady Boss Man' film because the central theme seems to be that vigilante justice can be a positive thing. A woman and her fiance are brutally beaten in Central Park, NYC. He dies from the attack and the horrendous incident causes her to place herself in extremely dangerous urban situations where she must shoot her way out. A sensitive NYC detective sympathizes with her initiative and lets her slide. At the very least, the film is beautifully shot on the mean streets of lower Manhattan; with Jodie Foster, Terrence Howard, and Mary Steenburgen. Directed by Neil Jordan (THE CRYING GAME). One win & 7 nominations. "56" Metascore and I might add a couple of points.  

More of 'NOW MORE THAN EVER: The History of Chicago' (Amazon Prime). Shut it down with 25 minutes left to go. For me Chicago died with Terry Kath and I never cared for their 'soft side', but I can see why it was so popular.  But it's self evident that it's just melodramatic 'wedding music'. 

1155am: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then go for a shortened walk through Washington Park. The legs feel back in shape, but I don't want to experience any pain. I'll be shooting for something a little less than an hour and a half.

More 'BORGEN: The Power & Glory' (Netflix). Part of the series is shot in Nuuk, Greenland which is on the southwest coast of the island. I will check with Wikipedia about how Denmark became involved with Greenland. I shut it down 8 minutes into episode #7.

Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
