Watched 'INTUITION' (Netflix). It's a complex and deliberately paced Police Procedural set and filmed in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Two Cases:  1) Police detective implicated in the hit and run death of the man believed to have killed his wife. The cop wasn't driving the car, but his ex-mother in law was. 2) Young girl is stabbed to death in her bed. It wasn't her secret lover, but her roomate. According to IMDB this is Netflix's first original Argentine movie. I gave this one '2 thumbs up'. 

Watched 'YOU ARE NOT ALONE: Fighting The Wolf Pack' (Netflix). After 'The Running of The Bulls Festival' in Pamplona, Spain a woman is assaulted by five men. In Spain at that time, a woman could be sexually assaulted when she was incapacitated by alcohol or drugs and the perp would only be guilty of 'sexual abuse' and never rape. This case changed the laws in Spain to allow for more stringent sentencing. This was part of the European social media campaign that began with the American 'Me Too Movement'. The people that opposed the new changes felt that if you don't  say 'No', then by not saying anything you are going along with the act. Obviously, a woman could be so intimidated that she might be too afraid, ashamed or paralysed to say 'No'. 

1210pm: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then hit Washington Park. I plan to contact Memorial and have copies of the bill sent to 940.

More 'THE BARRIER' (Netflix). I shut it down 25 minutes into episode #11. Probably a little too much remains to binge through it tomorrow morning, but stranger things have happened. 

***When I got into bed I noticed a text from Janny. They were at the local middle school (off Parkview) and wanted to know if I wanted to watch 'the kids' baseball games. The text said they would be there around 545pm. I was about five hours too late.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
