***I really feel lousy due to allergies. This doesn't feel at all like a cold and I will be getting more antihistamines later today. Last night I set the furnace to engage if the temperature falls below "70", but it's held at 70 without turning on.  

Up 530am: Partly cloudy & breezy with temps to upper 50's. The first 'Freeze Warning' of the season. 

Watched 'OPPENHEIMER' (Amazon Prime). A film about conflicting points of view on the morality of the development of the atomic bomb to end WWII. Oppenheimer's thinking was that both the Axis and the Allies would unlock the power of nuclear fission eventually and it would be less dangerous for the Allies to own this secret. He was never a fan of that much destruction in the hands of anyone, but the threat of absolute rule by the Axis powers and what they might do would be far worse than the human casualties from the bomb; Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Casey Affleck, Gary Oldman, and Matthew Modine. Won 7 Oscars; 349 wins & 359 nominations. "90" Metascore and that's about where I'd put it. Directed by Christopher Nolan.

Based on 'AMERICAN PROMETHEUS: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer' by Bird and Sherwin.

Began DONNELL RAWLINGS on 'ARE YOU GARBAGE?'.

More 'KILLER RATING' (Netflix). I shut it down 36 minutes into episode #6. One episode remains and I'll finish the series after tomorrow's Morning Movie.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
