Watched 'GOOD GIRL JANE' (Kanopy). A southern California teen feels ignored & alone, so she takes up with a 'wild & new' crew at high school. Her new boyfriend is a dealer and he's using her and the rest of the crew for whatever he can get. "People use me for things, and I use them right back"..."What are you using me for?" This Independent film is based on a 'short' and the film feels like a collection of very good individual scenes. Lots of great characterizations, but it doesn't seem to connect as a whole, but still worth a look. One scene was at 'Mrs. Chapman's- Angel Food Donut' which is in Long Beach which is in southern Los Angeles.

Finished 'THE MANHATTAN ALIEN ABDUCTION' (Netflix). I'm fairly certain that it was a hoax but the series left it open to 'personal interpretation'. First of all, why no one questioned the 'nose implant' is beyond me. Why didn't they have it removed and determine exactly what it was? 

More 'HOT SKULL' (Netflix). I shut it down at 50 minutes into episode #6.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am.
