Up 525am: Cloudy, raw & breezy with temps to low 30's.  Got in Five Miles right off the bat, and the knee is 90% better. I'll hit Esporta tomorrow for a full workout and I'll do the remaining Two Miles tonight....maybe. {I did!}

630am: FIVE MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; TUESDAYS WITH STORIES. 

Watched '99 MOONS' (Kanopy).  An erotic German Art Film about a couple's unusual sexual affair that spans several years and includes their extraneous dalliances. The guy is more of a self centered hedonist and the girl is a scientist with control issues, yet their attraction is magnetic and they are helpless to end it even though the relationship is beneficial to neither of them. However, I don't think that viewers would empathize with either character and that is the film's  biggest weakness.  Part of the movie takes place at a 'rave' where there is no public sound system and everyone listens to the music on headphones. I'd give it a "67" Metascore. 

*No rice today, just a bowl of oatmeal/grits so that I can at least 'fake' a feast. I was never big on gluttony, although multiple bong hits are now the order of the day.

More 'THE EMPRESS' (Netflix). I shut it down 46 minutes into episode #5. Just about an hour remains, and I'll finish the series when I get back from The Brandenburgs tonight. 

1245pm-430pm:  To The Brandenburgs: I brought Nutella & kinda like bringing a Sex Pistols single to a phone company party in 1979. I ate very little and felt great & I was able to get home early enough to get in the additional TWO MILES on the treadmill and enjoy the complete ' Tub Experience'. Jon & Whitney are putting in a new bathroom and begin work tomorrow. There will be no tub. 

455pm: TWO MILES AT 4.0 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; more 'ARE YOU GARBAGE?' with a Mexican comic. 

545pm: In the tub with 'THE PARSIFAL MOSAIC' and listening to ORNETTE COLEMAN- 'Beauty is a Rare Thing'; 'DUB' Genre >>SCIENTIST/  LEE 'SCRATCH' PERRY/ KING TUBBY.

Began 46" YouTube video 'THCA Exposed'.

More 'THE EMPRESS' (Netflix). Kind of an unsatisfying ending, but it's unfortunate that they picked this period of Empress Elisabeth's life. Her assassination would make a nice movie. The movie that I saw that showcased her gymnastic abilities was better than this series, although the series was well worth a look.

I will begin a Polish series on Netflix called 'FEEDBACK' tomorrow night.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am.
