Watched 'SIX TRIPLE EIGHT' (Netflix). The story of the only American 'women of color' military unit to serve in Europe during WWII. They sorted 17 million pieces of mail in three months. The film seemed almost 'faith based' and without nuance. The way that this military unit was treated was a total miscarriage of justice and deserves a better historical record than what was offered in this film. Directed by Tyler Perry. 3 wins & 4 nominations. "56" Metascore and I'd go to "68" Metascore.

Watched 'THE BLUE DRUM' (Netflix- 16"). On the evening of her father's funeral a woman discovers the corpse of her mother and a bunch of ball bearings in a 55 gallon drum hidden in the basement. Huh? 

Watched 'THE MAMA RETREAT' (Netflix- 16"). A Latino pregnant woman visits a 'Mother's To Be Workshop' and bad vibes proliferate. Something seemed to be missing and I didn't really get the point.

1140am: I answered an email from Janny telling me that the Xmas celebration has been moved to 4pm on Thursday from 630pm. I told her I'd be there at four. 

1140am: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do weights, workout at Esporta, and then visit Schnucks for the grocery shopping. Gotta get a move on!

1225pm: To Esport....45"Precor,  45"Treadmill,  30"Cross,  15" Recumbent Bike [2 hrs  15 minutes] ; a couple of 45 minute TRUE CRIME (Netflix) ; began Craig from 'Craigslist' on THEO VON. 

310pm: To Schnucks: $89 and the joint was packed.

540pm: In the tub with 'THE AQUITAINE PROGRESSION' and listening to LEE MORGAN Playlist;  BLACK CROWES Live;  GRATEFUL DEAD- 'Blues For Allah'.

Fucked around with 'Blog' trying to see posts that I made years ago. It seems far to fucking hard to navigate. No podcast, just straight to the show.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character.
