Wrote a quick Chat.

Watched 'AD VITAM' (Netflix). The title means 'To Life' and it's about the 'GIGN' which is the French National Gendarmerie's elite police tactical unit. I was surprised at all the training they received involving spelunking up and down the exterior of buildings.  The unit is primarily military and usually deployed outside of France, but they can be used if a terrorist incident occurs within the country. The film is about what you would expect. A few decent car/motorcycle chases and some average chop-socky and it's all tied together with a storyline involving 'a cop who tries to buck the system'....and no new ground was broken.   

Continued the old J.R.E. with SHANE GILLIS talking about his experience being cancelled from SNL. 

1215pm: PC is 'Off' and preparing to leave for 900 N. 9th. 

1230pm: To Springfield Clinic... checked in & did the bloodwork. Got all of the necessary tests except one. My numbers are about the same & a bit better. This is good & even 10 years ago they were about the same, but he says yearly monitoring is necessary. 

Next year Th 1/22/26; 900 N. 9th 4th floor and I can have bloodwork done at any branch from 1/16 to 1/22.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
