Watched 'THE GOOD SHEPHERD' (Netflix). It's how the Central Intelligence Agency came to be and the unsettling characters that became the founding fathers. Ex: The 'Skull & Bones' fraternity produces so many of this country's leaders that it's terrifying.  Spycraft is all about relationships of trust and mistrust and what happens when these relationships come apart at the seams. Not at all like the fun and games of a James Bond cliche and he wouldn't last a minute in the real world of espionage; with Matt Damon, Angelina Jolie, Robert De Niro, Alec Baldwin, Michael Gambon, William Hurt, Timothy Hutton, Joe Pesci, Eddie Redmayne. Nominated for an Oscar; 2 wins & 13 nominations. "61" Metascore and I would boost it to "81". "...should be the 'eyes and ears', not the 'heart and soul'.  

1035am: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then hit Esporta. After the workout I want to go grocery shopping.  County Market or Schnucks but I want to get there before it gets crowded.  

1130am: To Esporta...45"Precor,  45"Treadmill,  30"Cross,  15" Recumbent Bike,  30"Precor...TWO HOURS AND 45 MINUTES;  finished 'THE GOOD SHEPHERD' (Netflix); an episode of 'COLD CASE FILES' (Netflix)- Man kills his wife after she told him that she was leaving him. Fourteen years later he was convicted of 2nd degree murder; more 'ARE YOU GARBAGE?'; finished 'KAJILLIONAIRE' (Amazon Prime)- A fine quirky comedy.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale.
