Watched 'A SEPARATION' (Kanopy). A very clever tale of a multifaceted and thorny moral dilemma. A man pushes a woman out of his apartment. He had hired her to tend his house and watch his senile father. One day he returns to his apartment and learns that she had left the apartment and tied the old man to his bed. She maintains that the 'push out of the apartment' caused her to have a miscarrieage. Each person has a unique point of view and their conflicting testimonies describe a huge 'gray area' of what might or might not be the truth. The judicial system seemed entirely foreign. It seemed almost too easy to file a formal complaint and extremely odd that not a single lawyer was even consulted. Won 1 Oscar; 89 wins & 52 nominations. "95" Metascore and I agree. The money that was agreed upon was $15 million Iranian Rial which is the equivalent of $357 usd.

***930am: I got a callback (I had called ten minutes before) from the Springfield Clinic. I have microscopic traces of blood in my urine and they need to check that nothing has changed since the cystoscopy of three years ago. Because I was a former smoker is the reason for the tests, but they would recommend the procedure even if I hadn't been a smoker. What is creating the microscopic traces of blood is the question.1) First I get a 'radar' look at the pelvic area. 2) and then the cystoscopy is scheduled. I should begin to receive calls sometime next week after they have checked with my insurance.  

Finished 'MOGURA' (Netflix). The series is supposed to be based on a real story. I find that very hard to believe. 

Watched part of an episode of 'BLACK MIRROR' (Netflix- Season 3; episode #1. I'll finish on the treadmill.

1230pm: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to walk on the treadmill. It's a little too windy.

More of 'THE CHURCH OF WHAT'S HAPPENING'.

Began 'THE LAST NIGHT AT TREMORE BEACH' (Netflix). Filmed in Puerto de Vega, Navia, Asturias, Spain. It's in the northwest corner of the country on the Bay of Biscay. A composer visits a small resort town to finish writing a soundtrack for a movie. One night he is struck by lightning and he begins to question his sanity. Later, it begins raining fish (?) and one of his neighbors bangs on his door, bleeding from stab wounds. Was it was all in his mind? This is an intriguing series and I'm looking forward to the next episode.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am.
