Watched 'TRAP' (Netflix). Authorities learn that a serial killer will be attending an arena concert by superstar, Lady Raven. The killer and his daughter show up and he slowly realizes that the cops are on to him and he is caught in a 'trap'. Almost nothing in the film is the slightest bit believable and the initial premise is even flawed. Police could trick a suspect with a well planned 'sting', but it would never work for a stadium concert with thousands of people and almost infinite access.  And the fact that the killer's daughter would later be asked to be part of the show was completely beyond the realm of possibility. Directed by M. Night Shyamalan; with Josh Hartnett and Saleka Shyamalan (she is the director's daughter). 3 wins & 4 nominations. "52" Metascore and even though I was not a fan, I would still go to "67".  The film was set in Philadelphia but filmed in Toronto and Hamilton, Canada.  

Watched an episode of 'SCANDAL! Then And Now' (Amazon Prime)- An expose of Fatty Arbuckle's fall from grace. After three mistrials Arbuckle was not only found 'not guilty', but the jury wrote a letter claiming that he was 'completely exonerated' from any wrongdoing whatsoever. However, the wrong against the film star was never righted. He was banned from working as an actor in Hollywood and his films were banned worldwide. He died in a hotel at 46 years of age. Virginia Rappe probably died from a botched medical procedure and the incident was covered up. William Randolph Hearst was behind the media attack on the film star. He didn't care if Arbuckle was innocent or guilty. Hearst only wanted to sell more papers.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer.
