Watched 'HOW TO MAKE MILLIONS BEFORE GRANDMA DIES' (Netflix).  In working class Bangkok a young slacker becomes his  grandmother's caretaker, but he's really only in it for the inheritance. I guess the moral is that you can 'fake it until you make it', because, in the end, he understands and appreciates the love that they shared. Maybe it's just a Thai thing, but it seems that most relatives scheme to keep fortunes within the family and who gets what is highly contested. Set and filmed in the Talat Phlu neighborhood of Bangkok, Thailand which is a traditional Chinese community. $200,000 Thailand baht to usd is $5,960. This is the amount the uncle took from grandma's cookie jar.

They will call to arrange an appointment with the facility on Monroe. He said I'm doing fine. I didn't realize until hours later that I was going to have a nurse remove wax from my ears. I think Dr. Martinek also forgot and I just walked out.

Finished 'NARCOS: Mexico' (Netflix). A Mexican cop who was looking for a serial killer executed the wrong guy. He might have been a killer/rapist, but it seems that there were many, many more just like him. Later the cop is assassinated by a gang member who murdered him because he was giving information to the DEA. The American DEA agent says to the female Mexican reporter that "I am not a good guy and we are not the good guys", yet he continues to work in law enforcement but not in narcotics. A solid series and I hope there will be more like it. Just can't get enough drama concerning the drug cartels.

Began 'SIGNS' (Netflix). I shut it down 20 minutes into the first episode. Already it's got a beautiful Polish location and an intriguing plotline is developing. I'm in.
