Weekly Cleaning

Watched 'MURDER AT YELLOWSTONE CITY' (Netflix). Set  in 1881 in Montana, this film is the story of a local man who had just struck gold.  The man with the gold is murdered and the killing is blamed on a mysterious black stranger. He didn't do it and the local pastor and his wife took up arms to protect him. Lots of Christian bias in the film, although the black guy's knowledge of Shakespeare was quite impressive; with Isaiah Mustafa (CROSS), Thomas Jane, Gabriel Byrne, Richard Dreyfuss. "45" Metascore and I would boost that to "75". Filmed in Livingston, Montana. Was there a gold rush in Montana? Yes, during the 1860's.

Finished 'HIGH TIDES' (Netflix). A less than satisfying ending, but there is a third season in the works. I almost can't wait for more of this overwrought & sexy Belgian soap opera.

More 'THE TERROR' (Netflix). I shut it down 21 minutes into episode #7. It's a slightly different take on the 'military man' genre. The officers and enlisted soldiers are thoughtful and decorous men with laser focus on the mission at hand.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
