Up 615am: Bright & sunny with temps to just over 80. Today is the 'Oaks Weekend Yard Sale' and there are ten times as many cars on Westview Drive as on a normal Saturday. 

Began 'TELL ME YOUR SECRETS' (Amazon Prime). A piping hot melodrama from Amazon Prime. I don't know why I started it, but I'm in for the duration. 

***Shortly before 8am I got a text saying that a Roto-Rooter tech (Sean) was on the way. OK. One hour later I called the office and learned that the guy was leaving Granite City at 8am! 845am: He was driving down Westview when I was talking to his boss. Finished by 1020 am and he uncovered a huge blockage in the drain by the mailbox. It was completely blocked with vines, roots, and dirt and he pulled a blockage out of the drain on the roof by the corner of the garage. The price was exorbitant, but very necessary. I would have never been able to fix the occluded downspout and I need to go to Lowes for a cap for the drain ($20) in the yard near the mailbox. The PC is 'Off' and I'll shut down until I'm finished thinking about gutters.  

11am: more 'TELL ME YOUR SECRETS' (Amazon Prime). It's as melodramatic as possible and I'll keep this one going. 

1230pm: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do the weights and then visit Planet Fitness. After the workout I'll try to make it to Lowes for the 'drain cap'.

Weights: 3 sets/ 15 reps

130pm: To Planet Fitness...45"Cross, 45"Treadmill, 30" Recumbent Bike, 30" Treadmill, 30"Cross;  watched documentary 'A DEADLY AMERICAN MARRIAGE' (Netflix)- Did his father in law kill him or was the old man protecting his daughter from her homicidal husband?; more 'TELL ME YOUR SECRETS' (Amazon Prime).

***50 mg in slow dosage brought a nice intensity to the workout. A True Crime documentary was never so compelling. 

  Ace Hardware: I decided to drive up the hill rather than fighting the traffic to Lowes, and I was in luck! They had exactly what was required and the price was  the same: $24. I shoved it in the hole when I got home.  

WALLA TROUBLE: The problem with 'stutter' on the playback is coming from the speaker. I put on the kitchen speaker and it worked perfectly, so I'll replace the Walla. Not sure whether I'll drive to Best Buy or make a plea for my friends at Amazon.  

545pm: In the tub with 'THE CONFESSION' and listening to GINGER BAKER Playlist; WHO- 'Maximum Singles'.

More 'THE LORENSKOG DISAPPEARANCE' (Netflix). I shut it down 24 minutes into episode #4. There is only one more episode and I could finish this tomorrow morning.
